Welcome to the Republican Institute for Knowledge Control (RIKС). It is the only educational establishment in the Republic of Belarus employed in the HEIs and SSEIs entrants’ selection. We have an enviable reputation for tests development and administration.

Mr. Bauman, First Secretary of the German Embassy and the Head of the Goethe Institute in Minsk, visited RIKC.
Written tests and dictations for SSEIs entrants have been prepared. Exam papers will be handed over to the SSEIs representatives in accordance with the early approved schedule.
Documents required to exchange an invalid CT certificate in the following cases:
LOSS:
- written request addressed to the director of RIKC;
- photocopy of the identity document (passport, residence permit, refugee certificate, etc.);
- a newspaper notice stating the certificate loss.
CHANGE of the identity document:
- written request addressed to the director of RIKC;
- photocopy of the identity document (passport, residence permit, refugee certificate, etc.);
- a written notice from the police department (Passport office, Department of Citizenship and Migration) proving the change of the identity document;
- certificate to be replaced.
MISPRINT in the certificate:
- written request addressed to the director of RIKC;
- photocopy of the identity document (passport, residence permit, refugee certificate, etc.);
- certificate to be replaced.

RIKC welcomed Turkish scholars and journalists.
Turkey and Belarus higher education institutions entrance exams’ peculiarities were debated at the meeting. Test items development, tests administration, answer-sheets processing, scaling and scoring procedures employed in Belarus were given careful consideration to. The Turkish delegation members shared their experience of higher education institutions entrance exams organization, external assessment problems and the means employed to overcome them.
RIKC welcomed Christine Sinclair and Lars Sondergaard, the World Bank representatives.
Christine Sinclair and Lars Sondergaard got acquainted with centralized testing and tests administration, RIKC’s structure and activities. We welcomed the opportunity to share the experience and discuss the benefits of closer cooperation.
RIKC welcomed Michel Maximovitch, an attaché of the French Embassy in the Republic of Belarus.
Michel Maximovitch got acquainted in greater detail with the documents regulating admission to higher and specialized secondary education, learnt more about national testing and automated system "Nationwide Databank of CT Participants" operation. The mutual benefits of greater cooperation were discussed. Michel Maximovitch thanked for a very warm welcome he was given, wrote an entry to the Guest Book.
Tests for pre-trial testing are being worked out at the moment. Tests in 14 subjects will be administered in October, 2011.
2011 CT test items data are being analysed. Research findings will be presented to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
